And TOTALLY undid the already-bad-but-somewhat-improving impression I had of the person.

Since it’s so not smart to bitch here, all I can do is look forward to my meetup with The Bestie (please come prepared for pent-up fury haha).

Time to accept the fact that SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST PLAIN MEAN.

But that doesn’t mean that I have to put up with them.

The confrontation scene between Streep and Hoffman was, for lack of a better word, fierce.

Apologies for sounding so cryptic lately. Some of you are used to it but I know how irritating it can be.

So much unsaid, but so much said in the unsaid as well. Which is what makes their friendship so enviable. Everyone needs someone who gets them like that.

Upon reaching home from school today, I showered, watched Whose Line in a failed bid to cheer myself up, collapsed under my pillows and sheets and secretly vowed never to crawl out.

I did, eventually. For Bourdain. And now I’m back under the sheets.

I tried to express the mess in words, but that ain’t happening right now baby. (I have no idea where that slang came from.)

So, I just want to do one thing for myself here.

I want to remind myself of the times where I got out of bed in the middle of the night (and you know to say I sleep like a pig would be an understatement), switched on the nightlamp and write that compelling word/phrase/paragraph/two-pager on paper. Most importantly, I want to remember the satisfied smile on my face as I headed quietly back to bed.

There are too many things going on (and I seem to have lost the ability to multi-task damnit) so I’m just going to hang onto this for now.

Side Effects: Inexplicable urge to slash leggings à la Alex Wang + hyperventilation from continuous staring at Léger shoes.

I don’t blog much when things are actually happening in my life.

Oh, and I’m toying with the idea of starting another blog. I AM FICKLE HEAR ME ROAR.

I think I’m a Moleskine convert. Thanks to the introductory course by Joce. But I’m still enamoured by the idea of finding the perfectly weathered brown leather diary in a small second-hand bookstore at the corner of a random cobblestoned street somewhere. Slightly yellowed pages, thumbed corners, smelling of coffee and cologne.

Yes, I’m still the pen-and-paper kind of girl (despite wanting a Blackberry).

Still, I think it’s great that he won Best Rap Album.

I have a problem differentiating rappers. I think I can only recognise Jay-Z, Kanye West (partly cuz I’ve seen him in person haha), Chris Brown (cuz he had a cameo on The O.C), P.Diddy, Lil Wayne (cuz I just saw him receive his award), Will.i.am and Snoop.

T.I, T-Pain, Akon, Timbaland, 50 Cent and Ne-Yo? My eyes hurt already.

And it really doesn’t help that they seem to like shades and wear bling and dress alike.

I mean, I think Kanye, P.Diddy and Will’s dress sense really help to set them apart.

Alright fine, I’m a loser who just doesn’t get the ghet-to. I can’t help forming grammatical sentences and I love vocatives. Happy now?
